New York City may be the city that never sleeps, but it’s absolutely hard to find a (cheap) place to sleep here.
Accommodation in nyc is not low-cost — and it’s typically hard to find deals.
That’s (in part) by design.
There used to be a lot of hostels in NYC, but the hotel lobby got the city to use an old law indicated to block tenements and limit the number of people that could stay in a single room. This successfully shut down a lot of of the hostels in town, except for a few that were grandfathered in.
Now you’re only going to find a few hostels left.
Demand outstrips supply.
Even though there aren’t hundreds of hostels to choose from, there are enough to make a “best hostels in NYC” post, so you’ll know which are worth staying at (there are a few that are really horrible and to be avoided).
Over the years, I’ve stayed in dozens upon dozens of places. Pri výbere hostela je potrebné zvážiť veľa vecí. The top four when picking the best hostel in nyc are:
Location – new York is substantial and it can take some time to get around. Vyberte si miesto, ktoré je ústredné pre lokality a nočný život, ktorý chcete vidieť. All the hostels provided here are in central locations.
Price – In NYC, you really get what you pay for, so if you opt for a really low-cost one, you’re probably going to get a hostel that is small, cramped, and doesn’t offer terrific service.
Amenities – Every hostel in the city uses complimentary Wi-Fi, and some have a complimentary breakfast, but if you want a lot more than that, be sure to do your research to find the hostel that best meets your needs!
Staff – All the hostels provided here have fantastic staff! They are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. even if you don’t end up staying at one of the places provided below, be sure to look up reviews to make sure you end up somewhere where the staff is valuable and friendly! Môžu urobiť alebo zlomiť hostel!
